It’s been the most comfortable and secure saddle I’ve ever ridden It is light-weight (about 24 lbs) and with the Aussie girth, is easy to attach securely to a low-withered horse. I’ve also ridden it on my Arabian mare, and it’s perfect for a short-backed horse. The saddle has some signs of use — wear on the poleys and back of the cantle and a few scuffs and superficial scratches elsewhere(see photos). But its leather is in great shape and so is the saddle, flocking, stirrup leathers, stirrups, etc. It comes with a Werner Christ wool fleece-back dressage pad, which fits this saddle well, and a wool fleece Toklat Aussie girth (34).
