The contoured shape allows maximum freedom and space behind the elbow, and less restricted movement of the front legs and can improve stride and freedom in the air. Scalloped shaped ends allow for even pressure under the buckles, which are splayed and set at a slight angle. Elestication is built into each buckle attachment, and is just enough for flexibility without effecting saddle fit or girth tension.
