This saddle has a deep 17.5 seat and is very comfortable. It keeps your legs close to the horse and hip open. The wool flocking is in good shape w/stitching neat & tight; it has been well cared for. There is minimal wear on the back of the cantle and you should be able to see this from the photographs. I rode with this saddle on my Andalusian and he had no problems with it being too small. The gullet size measures 4.5 and, after some research on the Internet, this would make the tree a size wide. The stirrup leathers are in very good shape and the stirrups and saddle were mostly used for riding in the mountains. I bought the leather girth because the saddle did not come with one and it measures 26 and fit my horse well.
